Goodman Fumbatha Mabandla is one of the leaders in the 1976 student uprisings inDaveyton. He was frequently detained and harassed by the then security police.

He was union activist during employment at the mines.

Went to exile and joined BCMA and underwent military training under AZANLA and is currently a member of AZAPO
